I love the many changing moods of the warehouses at the Port of Sacramento. I use bold strong lines to capture their size and importance. I was first inspired to sketch industrial buildings when I saw the work of Smith Jones whose Grain Silos series is still without peer. My teacher Ms Blake has helped me to develop both artistically and technically and supported my efforts to discover new and more richly nuanced shades of gray.
