- What is your novel about?

my plots never play a huge role in my novel and i always feel like answering this question makes my novel sound...trivial I guess, when in fact its pretty deep.

i know exactly what you mean. so much goes on in the plot to form my characters' lives, that what the story "is about" is not something i can easily answer. heh, one answer we can give, perhaps, is "you can read it if it gets published."
