Making digital slides/images onto a disk or print out?

for my illustrations i need to make digital images. usually made onto a disk or what? i cant scan them.

Digital images from where? What kind? Not enough information. MS Word will build image and word pages which can be printed and saved to disk. So will HTML web page builders, including FrontPage and FrontPage Express.
