Question:

What is the sixth sense?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Hard to describe. In the 1970's the Russians came up with a camera that records people's auras. Showing the world that they do, indeed, exist.

I think the sixth sense is tied to that aura, in that any disturbance we feel with it tweaks us into examining just why it was disturbed. Example...when we "feel" eyes watching us. I think that the person watching us has alerted our very sensitive aura to their existence, and our aura is in turn alerting us with the knowledge that we are being watched.

Example...when a police detective just knows that (maybe even hard evidence to the contrary) this person is involved in this crime. His sixth sense is telling him so. I believe that his sensitive aura is picking up the roiling of the criminal's aura and trying to show him this by tweaking his "instincts".
