Question: I have a question about "The Host"!?

Okay, so i just bought the host by stephenie meyer yestarday and i finished it today and there is something i don't quite understand!.!.!.
What is a Seeker!? i know its a dumb question, but i didn't understand what they did!. Can someone tell me!?

I think a Seeker is a person who tries to hunt down humans that haven't had a soul implanted in their heads yet, and they knock them unconscious to bring to the Healers!. Then the Healers put a soul in them and hope for the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are basically like the authority in the world now!. They are not as, I guess you could say clueless, and nice as everyone else!. They are meant to enforce the rules and find the rebel humans!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
