Question: Is anyone a good writer!?

I need to write a sonnet before tomorrow
it goes, quatrain 1,2,3, and then a closing couplet!.
Q1 is a,b,a,b rhyme scheme, which means it'd be like,
the duck was weird,
how many ducks were there
maybe with a beard
a train of ducks came where

sorta like that, but 3 times in a row, and different rhyming words in the end, to those of you who help me thanks!

Yes, that's right!. I suggest you don't use that example, though =P!.

It's probably best to use Iambic pentameter (alternatively, iambic hexameter)!. That's 10 syllables to a line, stress every second syllable!.

But SOFT what LIGHT from YONder WINdow BREAKS!.

Hexameter is 12 syllables, same stress pattern!.

And yeah, a couplet at the end - two rhyming lines!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
