Question: Okay I have a writers question!?
I am a writer and I am still in high school and I have a question!.!.!.
do you write on paper or on the computer!? I write on paper because my mom says that writing on paper is a dying art!. But I think that it is good to practice writing on paper so what is your stand point on this!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I like to write on paper!. It's mainly because I like actually writing, but it's also so much easier to edit and catch mistakes on paper!.

I type up the final copy, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I write on paper when I'm brainstorming and writing small parts, and I use the computer when I'm writing the actual story!. I find writer's block comes easier through the computer and inspiration is easier found on paper!. Each has their pros and cons!. To me, writing on paper is a more fulfilling experience!. also, you can't always get your hands on a computer!. Paper is more portable!. On the other hand, writing through the computer saves paper and trees, and the page won't get cluttered as you edit!. It's also easier to send a friend a file rather than an inch thick manuscript!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Choosing to write on paper or on the computer is a personal preference!. I write on the computer simply because when I begin a story the ideas tend to come faster than my hand can write!. It's quicker to type!. However, I always print it out and do my edits by hand!. I find it easier to catch my mistakes if I'm not constantly staring at the glow of a computer screen!. There is something more real and natural about reading from a piece of paper!.

Use whatever method works best for you!. There's nothing wrong with writing on paper!. Just keep writing! (And I'd type up whatever you wrote so that you have a backup file in case you lose a sheet or two of your writing!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Brainstorm on paper then write the actual thing on the computer because it'll be easier to edit!. Paper is still the best for quickly writing down ideas!. Plus, you can highlight, colour, draw, do whatever to your piece of paper!. Not so much on a computer unless you have a tablet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i still write on paper; as a rough draft!.
then i type it up on the computer bit by bit!.!.!.
its actually a great way to edit your writing
without having to go over the whole thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My hand would ache if I wrote on paper!. So I choose to write on the computer!. I write notes on paper, so I don't forget ideas that just pop into my head!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
