Black Like Me by John Howard Griffin!. It's a true story about jouranlist in the 60's who "dyes" himself "black" and travels for 6 weeks "being" black and getting to understand the racism that existed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Noughts and crosses IS against racism!. What makes the series so brilliant is that it took racism out of it's usual context and showed it in a universal light!. However if you want old fashioned I would suggest Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, very groundbreaking for it's time and very much a classic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
