Question: Is this an interesting idea for a book!?
Okay, first off, I know that I already asked this question, it's just that I usually only get 2 or 3 good answers, and I wanted more opinions on it!.

The story is set in England!. It's about a man and a woman living in the 1900s, and they lived in a huge mansion, because they were very rich!. They were engaged, and they had a child!. Somehow, the man and the woman were murdered, and their butler fled, with the child, and was never to be seen again!.

Anyways, nobody wanted to buy the mansion that they lived in, because it was supposed to be haunted!. Now, current day, 90 years after the couple's tragic death, a man and a young girl come along!. They buy the house, and as it is very big, and the young girl is very curious, she spends her days wandering around the mansion, unlocking it's secrets!. One day, she finds a wooden box, with a lock!. She notices that the key to the box is around her neck, on a necklace she made, that she found in her mother's statue of a raven!. So, she opens the box, and inside she finds a large sum of money (around $50,000)!. She runs to tell her dad, who is a widower, because his wife was suicidal!.

So basically, she becomes curious and wants to find out how the money got there, and we come back to the beginning, telling about the man and the woman in the 1900s, and how they died, and what happened to the butler and the child he took with him!.

Constructive criticism, please!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

sounds like one of those nancy drew mysteries!. Idea is interesting but I feel that you haven't developed your story yet - ok, so the girl finds the money and the story of the 1900's family is told but so what!? Will the girl for instance try to locate the lost child or find out who murdered the parents!? What genre are you thinking in terms of - drama, thriller, adventure!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would really want to read this story! Sounds great! Just make sure you research England in the 1900s so that you know how to describe it, and what it's like!
