Question: Has Grisham given up legal thrillers or is he just expanding his base!?

The last couple of books I saw from him were not legal thrillers in nature; has he abandoned the genre or is he just diversifying!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

His most recent book is more or less a "political thriller!."

Given his status with the publishers, Grisham can write whatever he pleases!. This is why you've seen him venture down the road into literary fiction and memoir, as well as a serialized project!.

Stephen King has done the same thing!.

All artists -- writers, musicians, painters, etc!. -- grow and change and experiment!. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't!.

None of Grisham's work has been so successful as his legal thrillers, though, and I would imagine that he will return to them again and again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
