Question: Anyone know this teen book!?

All I really remember is that there as a girl who becomes friends with another girl who is obsessed with the fact that at a carnival a person who does the "Guess your age and weight" game called her dad 58 when he really wasn't!. Does anyone know this book or am I going crazy!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you are thinking of "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech!. That part is in the book but it's originally about a girl named Sal who goes on a road trip with her grandparents to find her mother and she tells them a story about her friend Phoebe and at a part that does happen to Phoebe's dad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
