The Da Vinci Code was definitely the most overrated book I've read!. That's what I was going to answer before seeing the rest of your question! It was exciting, I'll give it that!. But it also had pretensions of being literary and profoundly important!. It was not either of those things!. It could have been a good movie, too, but (unlike the book) it wasn't exciting at all!. They should have cast action stars in it!. But no, it, too, tried to be this weighty discourse on history and religion, and just ended up looking stupid!. Ugh!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
