Question: What is the name of this short, sci-fi story!?
I think the author might have been Ray Bradbury, but I'm not entirely sure!. It was a sci-fi short story!. I want to write an essay on it, but I can't remember the name of it!. So here goes the general idea of the story and let's see of any of you guys can put a name to it:
(and it's highly interesting, if not creepy!. I suggest reading it if we figure out the title!.)

It's basically a 'Utopia' or a type of Heaven on Earth, where everything is perfect!. Everyone likes each other!. No one has any hard feelings for anyone else!. There isn't war!. There isn't famine!. Everyone is living in harmony with one another!.

Except:

To make this Utopia happen, they 'Handicapped' (and this was a term used in the short story) people so that they were all on the same level as each other!. (Even) A beautiful person would have to wear a mask so that they were not prettier than anyone else!. A smart, quick-thinking person would have to wear a device so that his/her thoughts were interrupted so that they weren't any smarter than anyone else!. Those who were agile would have to wear a certain amount of weight added on to their bodies so that they weren't any faster or more graceful than anyone else!.

(Spoilers here)
There was a couple watching ballerinas dance across the stage, but of course they were weighted so they could perform no better than the viewers if they were to attempt it!. But then all of a sudden one man comes across, who happens to be heavily handicapped!. The couple recognize this man as their son!. He has gotten so used to his handicaps that it has actually made him stronger, almost invinciple!. He rips off all of his handicaps to reveal a perfect, handsome man!. He believes that the world shouldn't need to be handicapped the way he was, and he took one of the ballerinas and removed her weights and her mask to reveal a gorgeous woman, and together they leaped across the stage!.

(still spoiling!.!.!.)
But the handicapping generals came along, as this was strictly illegal, and they were shot for being individuals and they died!. And the couple who had recognized the man as being their son immediately forgot because of their own handicaps!.

So, please and thank you!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harrison Bergeron! It's by Kurt Vonnegut!. We read that in 8th grade!. Very odd!. Very good!.

Considering myself of moderate or above-average intelligence, the very thought of that whole story makes me shiver!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
