If you're printing it out double-spaced, in a 12-point typeface, write one or two pages in that format, and count words!. A short book should have maybe 40,000 words, so do the arithmetic to get your answer!.

You're worrying about the wrong thing!. Get the story down first!. Worry about the storyline and the proper way to write it!. I have always said, quality over quantity!. Put your best work down, and concern yourself over length later, if at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a good length is at least 200 pages!. that way you can write alot of things and keep a person reading!. the twilight books are all over 497 pages, and they are so popular and amazing!

On average, a novel is 50,000 words which is about 175 pages!.!.!.!. So about 125 notebook sized pages!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
