If it is a good book!. The main character being a girl doesn't make a difference to me if it is well written and the storyline can get and keep my attention!.

A female can be a main character in any genre of books, they are not relegated to mysteries and romance novels!. I have seen sci-fi books as well as slasher novels my guy friends love that have women as the main character!. You just have to know what to look for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do, but not very often!. It seems when I read them, I just can't get into the story, or I strongly dislike the character!. There have been some books which I have enjoyed, but all of my favorite books pretty much have male main characters/Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely!. A strong protagonist, regardless of gender, is worth reading!. I'm a straight man and I don't need to relate to a straight male character!. Anyone can relate to any well-written character!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
