Absolutly!. I do it with moves and even with books!. I usually try to re-write things or add additional chapters!. Or even I try to come up with a sequel or a prequel!.

The one I like is an old black and white movie called On Borrowed Time!. Its such an amazing movie and I would LOVE to write that into a book!. I would love for the current generations to enjoy what I consider a masterpiece from the past!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Deconstruction!? Absolutely!. Not just movies, but other books and even real life!. I think it's a fairly common trait among writers!.

As for turning a movie into a book, honestly I don't think it works!. The singular beauty of literature is that it engages the imagination of the reader!. Film does this job for the viewer so while you can make a movie out of a book (though it cheapens the book) you can't go the other way with much success!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A movie novelization!? Hmm that sounds interesting!. I'd do:
!.Ferris Bueller's Day Off (from Cameron's point of view because I found him a little more interesting than Ferris)
!.Napoleon Dynamite (because I feel like doing it, Gosh!)
!.Back to the Future (based on the first draft script which was mega different from the finished film)
I love writingWww@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think about transforming a movie into a book!. I tend to try and think about all the shots and cuts and close-ups, et al, trying to imagine how the script was written!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
