Aye, and too right he was!.

"Never a care: with your legs in the air, loving!.
Walking on velvet green!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Green is the color of nature!. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility!. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety!. Dark green is also commonly associated with money!."

"Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love!."

However, I'm wondering where on earth you heard that Chaucer said that green is the color of passion!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it's like the song "Greensleeves"!. That song, most likely, refers to a prostitute, or a seductress!. The reason why green has that connotation is because people would be able to tell if a girl was fooling around with a guy outside if her dress had grass stains on it!. It's kind of odd, but, there ya go!Www@QuestionHome@Com
