I have a New Moon Question...?

Question: I have a New Moon Question!.!.!.!?

Did anyone else notice this about the book: When Bella comes home she sees Carlisle's car parked near Charlie's house, right!? So then she goes inside to see that Alice is there!. (the natural implication of the fact that Alice took Carlisle's car to get there) Alice remarks that she's surprised to see that Bella is alive!. She says that as soon as she had her vision (of Bella jumping off the cliff) she got on the next flight to Forks!. So if she flew to Forks, then why is Carlisle's car parked there!? I think Meyer made a typo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not so sure it was a typo!. If you think about it!. The Cullens are really rich and return to Forks throughout the story and have throughout "their existence"(hence the treaty with the Quil Indians that was made a century before)!. So they don't destroy their house when they leave & since Bella doesn't want to look inside, we as the readers never know if they emptied it or not!. So why would they sell their cars!. They just up and leave when they must!. I figured that Alice more than likely took the first flight and stopped and retrieved Carlisle's car because it was the most inconspicuous one they owned besides Edwards Volvo which would have made everyone and Bella think he was back in town!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It could be a typo or it could be that Carlisle left his car at his house in Forks and Alice went to get it so she could go see "Charlie" in his House thinking that he is devastated by Bella's "death"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

She probably went back to their old house and got it!.
When Bella visited their house it wasn't destroyed so the car was probably in the garage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

may be Carlisle left his car in Forks then Alice drove it to Bella's house so she looked normal and like she didnt walk from a FAR AWAY air portWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think that she did that to sort of create suspense because she then knows that one of the Cullen's are there but when you think about it does seem rather impossible doesn't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
