Question: Does anyone know the book about a Man who breaks into a house!?

I once read a book about a man who was a director who gets fired and he goes home to find a man breaking into his house and his girlfriend has left him!. This Man who breaks into his house end up becoming friends with the guy and moves to Mexico with him!. For the life of me I can not remember the name of this book or the authorWww@QuestionHome@Com

This is a bit of a stretch, because a lot of the details are off, but the first thing that came to mind was P!.S!. Your Cat Is Dead by James Kirkwood!. It's a great and very funny book so it can't hurt to check it out anyway!. Good luck!.
