Question: How come whenever i go to the book section, there is always atleast 5 girls asking something about twilight!?

I, unfortunately, listened to my friends and trusted the masses and read Twilight!. After chapter thirteen it's!.!.!.!. digestible!. Personally, I dislike the book and author and really wish she would stop, but I can actually see the appeal to young people who have not read authors like Rice,Kenyon, Harris, Hamilton, King, etc!. If you knew nothing about vampires and less about love Belle and Edward's romance is alluring!. The young culture is so starved for attention and romance that they find that brand of creepy enduring!. Belle is not your average super hot and sexy, popular Buffy type!. She's homely (even though she had every guy in her new school's pulse up)and clumsy and over dramatic and I guess the majority of girls can relate!. Somehow though she become the center of the attention of the hottest, most mysterious guy in the school and, after having her head bashed through a mirror and her entire body broken, lives happily ever after!.!.!.!.!. well at least until the second book!.So, you know, there is hope for every young girl I guess!. Come on people!. Unplug and realize that the franchise is feeding off your insecurities and the MTVs of our world are lying to you about what true love and beauty is and for Heaven's sake, read something else!. to answer your first question, it is a popular book (I've never read it because I can't stand romance books) to answer your second question All you can do is give it time, It's like the Harry Potter books (which I never liked) just let these people go about their way they leave you alone soon enough!.
