Well, all my electronics just got blown to smithereens in my laundry machine!. So now I have to go to reading for winter break!. If you guys could help me find a book that you think I would like, that would be very much appreciated!. I like the Halo Series (Yes I played the game)!. I also like the Ranger's apprentice series (Finished Book 5), and The Lighting Thief (Need to read book 2)!. ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: um the sea of trolls is really good!. we had to read it for an english class but i ended up liking it!. Its about a kid named jack and his sister lucy and their adventures when they get captured, and have to survive with a bunch of berserkers on a ship!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I absolutely love the series Cirque De Freak!. I believe there are 12 books total and I read them all!. The series is about a normal teenager boy who has problems like any other teenager!. Then his adventures begin when he comes a circus with his best friend and his best friend recognizes a vampire in the circus from a painting he saw somewhere else and knows that he is a vampire!. I don't want to give the rest away but a little give away is that the main character's best friend wanted to become a vampire but was denied!. But the main character become a vampire when he didn't want to!. I recommend this series and it may not sound interesting but it is and in my opinion i loved it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I haven't read any of the books you listed!. Here are some of my favorites though!. -The space trilogy by CS Lewis was excellent: Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength!. This is the same author who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia, but this series is definitely for adults!. -Anything by Micheal Crichton was good, he wrote Jurassic Park, Sphere, Andromeda Strain, and a lot of books that turned into movies!. -Isaac Asminov wrote excellent science fiction, I think he wrote more books than any other author!. -If you just want an easy read that will make you laugh out loud every page, try Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy!. Girls and guys, believe it or not!. It's just written in a way that makes you not want to put the book down, you should give it a shot, it might be worth it ;) and it's an easy read, especially for teenagers!Www@QuestionHome@Com A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula LeGuin Imajica by Clive Barker (2 books) Jhereg by Steven Brust (any in the series but start with this one) plus, if you haven't read The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings you're missing out Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut oh, and i forgot to mention anything by Philip K!. If not, go to a local book store! ask them for a book similar to the ones you've read!. or go to amazon!.com and look for items related tot he books you like and see if you can buy them at a local store if you don't want to buy them online!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You're pretty much into the same stuff I am!.!.!. Eragon's pretty good, even though it can get a bit long!. If it seems cheezy, I'll tell you right now: it's not!. Yeah, the Lightning Theif has 4 books to it, so just buy all of those!. You can't go wrong with Stephen King ;-)!. A book I wouldn't expect to like but it was really good: Wicked!. That's all I can think of right now :-)!.
