Why do the cullens go to high school?

Question: Why do the cullens go to high school!?

i think the setting of the story is lame, why do they even go to school!? it doesntt make sense to go to high school over and over again!. gosh, the author of this book confuses me when i was reading Twilight!. It just seemed like it wasnt a REAL book and perhaps because the writing was off!. i just cant believe this book got published or even this much hype!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They look 17, they have to go to school!.- False!. In the book, Bella said they look old enough to be teachers!.

They have to fit in!.- If they want to fit in so much, they should make an effort!. They don't talk to anyone, they don't eat, they don't even try to appear human!.

They have nothing else to do!.- This is the stupidest answer!. There's plenty of things to do!. If they want to learn, they should
go to college!.

They want a normal human life!.- They look down on humans!.

It doesn't make much sense, but I really enjoyed the setting of Twilight!. What I learned from the story was pretty much that they go to school to blend in with the people from Forks!. I mean no, it isn't all that unusual that kids can be homeschooled, but it doesnt really fit in well with the story she was trying to write!. Dr!. Cullen works at the hospital so obviously he wouldn't be seen homeschooling them, but then again no one in town ever really sees Esme!. More or less, maybe it was because they didn't want to arouse suspicions!. Although they don't really associate with anyone at school, people may believe something weird would be going on if they showed up around town, once in a while, but not really at school!. Sure they could claim they are homeschooled, but didn't Bella sort of figure out that Edward was a vampire!? I think mostly going to school is because, more or less, they are bored!. There isn't much to do in Forks and also it sort of connects with Bella!. If Edward and his family didn't attend school he would have never met Bella in the first place and then there would be no twilight saga!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought the concept of a group of vampires trying to blend into human society by masquerading as a family was interesting!. The Cullens of the teenage appearance went to high school because they wanted to interact in a human community and in a human community, teenagers go to high school!. It was a necessary facet in the "costume"!.

It isn't even about fitting in!. It is about trying to maintain a normal life!. All of the Cullens have a few things in common, the main one is, none of them chose to be vampires, they were all on their deathbeds, and Carlisle saved them, with the exception of Alice and Jasper who were also changed against their will!. All of the Cullens hate the vampire lifestyle, and want to remain as human as possible!. If they go to school it not only gives them something to do, it allows them to stay in one place for longer!. Well basically they got nothing to do, they are trying to fit in!. I mean Imagine you leave forever i would repeat the same grades couple of times!. I mean wouldn't it be weird if they go live in a town a bunch of teenage kids and they don't go to school!? What are the people who live in Forks are going to say!? they might be suspicion!.

1st, it just a book!. Stephanie can write anything she wants in her book!. you just need to enjoy and dont analyze to far why this and that, just enjoy reading the story because if you want to ask, the Vampire things are not reasonable in real!. it isn't REAL at all

2nd!. what are you going to do if you do not go to high school with the look of age 17!? hide all the time!? beside Dr!. Carlisle works in hospital, what will he answer if people ask him what his children doing and where they are!. and MAYBE, just maybe because i dont see: FORKS doesn't have college, it is only high school

3rd, they try to blend in and make as normal as they can, avoid contact with human but doesn't mean you must hide yourself!.

4th WHO's hell know about them except Bella!? do anyone from their school know that they are vampire!? no, they try to lay low and remember Emmet told Edward to stop chasing Bella because SHE IS NOT ONE OF US!?

5th, the movie is made not very same like the book!. Edward in the movie are might be older, but the book also mention that the cullens and Hales are more look like teachers or in senior college rather than being in high school but since they don't mingle with the others so the others don't care too much on what the Cullens do
