I dont think I can think of one girl in my grade that hasnt read the damn book!. I dont understand what the fuss is about or why its so great!. Would it be worth reading!? Convincing answers please, Looking for best answer as fast as possible!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't like the book at all!. The writing is awful, the characters have no personality, and the plot is cliche!.

Honestly, I can't see how any guy could like that book!. Every other sentence is "Omg, Edward is soo hawt!"

So unless you like books where the main character spends nearly every page drooling over a guy, don't waste your time!.

Here's an example:

"His skin, white despite the faint flush from yesterday's hunting trip, literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were embedded in the surface!. He lay perfectly still in the grass, his shirt open over his sculpted, incandescent chest, his scintillating arms bare!. His glistening, pale lavender lids were shut, though of course he didn't sleep!. A perfect statue, carved in some unknown stone, smooth like marble, glistening like crystal!."

Honestly, the book is the fantasy of most women in written form!. The writer managed to write it in such a way that ladies can't help but feel like they are Bella, the main character, and the man of their dreams is Edward!. In my opinion, the best thing you can gain from reading the book is a sense of what most girls are looking for in a man, the type of romance they crave!.
also, the book just has the inexplicable power that draws you into it!. You just can't help but keep reading it, and the three other books that follow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can tell you why so many teenage girls are obsessed with twilight (including myself) it's because Edward is just the perfect guy, i mean he has everything that girl wants or needs!. I think the main thing though, that he is a gentlemen you don't find those kind of guys these days a lot, i mean he would do anything to keep her save, he cares for her so much!. Every girl wants a guy to care for her!. So he is basically the prince that every girl is searching for!. Even though he is a fictional character, he just has all these things that girls don't find much in guys!.!.!. it's like dying for someone you love!.!.!. he is not the kind of guy who is just looking after his desires you know!?

Another thing, is that every girl feels that she is bella while reading the book because she is telling the story obviously, and you feel you are in her place!. A lot of girls relate to her i mean every girl went through tough relation ship, you know like in the second book of the twilight series Edward leaves her, and a lot of girls had this experience where their loved ones just left them!.

Even now boys are obsessed over twilight, i would say because the whole "vampire thing" and i would say the love story itself but they just don't want to admit it lol!.
My boyfriend, brother, a lot of guy friends read the series and watched the movie and like it!.

If you do read the book, you would certainly learn something!. (I didn't mean that in a snotty way!.!.!.you really will learn some stuff about adolescent girls)!. Young girls like romance, and that kind of romance doesn't exist in the real world, especially not from teenage boys!. That is why the books are so popular!. That is why romances have been popular for 1000 years!.

Plus, a very important reasons to read the book would simply be so that you'll know what's going on!. You don't want to be left out of potential conversations because you haven't read some book!. Even if you don't like it, you'll be able to talk about THAT convincingly too=)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't understand the Twilight phenomenon at all!. I read them just to try and understand why people like them so much, and honestly I still don't get it!. The books are very poorly written (she uses the word "mumbled" waaay too much)!. The plot was good at first, but it got bogged down with cliches when she started making all the blatantly obvious allusions to Romeo and Juliet (which, by the way, is a far better story)!. If you want to read it just to see what it's all about, go for it, but don't have high expectations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Twilight is awesome!! It's not a girl book!. It's for everybody!. I mean, not many guys read it because of all the romance, but it has action and threats and violence too!. But the drama adds to it!. It's a perfect combination!. You should read it, or else you'll be missing out!. I know a lot of girls that find guys that have a feminine side very attractive!. Reading Twilight gets you to that attractive stage!. it really depends on the person if he likes the book or not!. Personally, i doubt a guy would like it, since it's in a girl's point of view!. According to my guy friend though, he says it enables him to understand how a girl feels!.

Even though I'm a huge fan, I 100% agree that the story is very cliche!. It's how the story is told is what gets me!. The fact that it's in first person view makes all the difference!. That's why Edward is "perfect"-because she's in love with him!. People forget their love's imperfections!.

Twilight is my favorite book ever!. :) I would definitely recommend it!. It IS a love story, so keep that in mind!. But there's also action in it!. Im a guy and im not ashamed to say this but i love those books!.

Its about a girl named Bella who moves to Forks Washington and falls in love with a vampire named Edward!.

In my grade the M!.V!.P!. in football read all of the books and he cant get enough of them it was actually pretty funny no one expected it from him, so with that being said don't feel ashamed to read them even though it is a love story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. You would hate it!. My guy friends think it is the worst thing ever!. It's a total chick book about how some guy is completely obssessed with this girl!. I guess you could say this is something a lot of girls would die for, although I think it's safe to say that they don't want it in a creepy, stalker like way!. It's not all it's cracked up to be!. It has a lot of crazed fans, but that's just hype from audiences with rather limited knowledge who are inclined to read terrible romance novels!.

it's a tad far fetch!. the first book is good, the second!.!.!.you just have to read through for it to make sense, though it isn't necessarily fun at first, the third is almost as good as the first and the fourth SUCKS!. too many holes in the plot line!. i wouldn't even bother reading it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There's no harm in trying it out!. I personally found it just okay, nothing more then that!. It varies from person to person so just read it to make your own decision!. I dont like the book!. The movie was great, but Stephanie Meyers writing puts me to sleep!. If you really want to read it, go ahead!. Just get it from a library, so incase it sucks, you didn't just waste $20!.
