thomas small and his family buy a house in ohio that was a stop on the underground railroad!. there are many artifacts in the house that pluto the caretaker and his son mayhew and thomas try to protect from the neighbors that would like to sell them for the money!. dies drear was the underground contact!. you should read it -great book!. for more info go to english teacher!.com!.really good siteWww@QuestionHome@Com
