Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: hmmmm!.!.!. i'm not so sure!. he is harmless, he kind of watches life go by "like a fly on the wall", he's ineffective (at least in his eyes)!.!.!. there are also a lot of allusions to insects in general throughout the book!. here's a paragraph about that: http://www!.shmoop!.com/literary-device/li!.!.!. the insect explanation is like the 2nd symbol discussed!. also, I'd read Faber's character analysis: http://www!.shmoop!.com/characters/literat!.!.!. there's the character list!. between those two short explanations, you should be able to make a few connections/explanations of the "moth" thing!. good luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
