She wrote the book to finish up the series!. To give Edward and Bella an ending!. No it's not what everyone hoped it would be, but seriously, could she really write the ending that EVERYONE wanted!? No!. She could not!. But I did enjoy it!. And as for the movie, no it's not as good as the book, but you pointed that out yourself, but it's still enjoyable!.
