Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Since he was just randomly found, no one really knows for sure!. However, Nelly thinks that he may have Spanish origins!. I remember that she said that Heathcliff is dark and may have been from a gypsy family!. EDIT: I don't recall how exactly Bronte describes Linton, so maybe Linton has skin that is a bit dark!. On the other hand, it would make sense that Linton looks "white" for this reason: Heathcliff is only mildly dark, more like olive colored skin, and since Linton's mother is "white", then he would barely be dark at all!. I seem to remember that Linton was the complete opposite of his father in terms of personality, strength, and looks anyway and reminded Heathcliff more of his mother, Isabella!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I can only picture seeing Lawrence Olivier in Wuthering Heights!. When he was taken in it was in a castle type home- again that's the Northern Isle region!. If you meant race- Caucasian but very light skinned, fair complexion yet tall and statuesque features!.
