Question: How do I write, what do I write!?!? what do I do with them!?
ok!. So basically I come up with a character, and the characters life!. What I mean is an overview of what this character is like!. I come up with all these ideas for different characters, I learn them, I love them, then I leave them!. Basically, once I get their 'life' story in my head I don't know what to do with it!. I have tried writing books about them but that was too hard!. I stopped because it didn't feel right, like I was loosing my characters with every word!. then I thought about short stories, sort of!. But that is too short!!. No I don't want a Novella!. See, I'm so confused!
Let me try this again!. Say we have this girl!. We'll call her Brianna!. Brianna has these two friends, Rebecca, the lesbian(but she prefers to be called gay) who is in love with there other friend Anne, who is the nerd and has never had a date in her life!. Brianna is the one who is always dating!. Basically she falls hard in and out of love!. Rebecca is just Rebecca!. She is trying to handel life, the frustrations of secretly loving one of her best friends!. Anne was lucky!. She moved to a new town and got some pretty cool friends!. She went from being a book lover lowner to being the smart one of a group of best friends!. Yet sometimes, sometimes she feels like something is missing!.
You see! This is just half of my analasys or whatever you want to call it!. I have many more of these about other groups of characters!. And it's like I want to to bits and pieces of there stories but not the whole!. How can I do that!?!?!? How do I tell you about Brianna, Rebecca, and Anne without it being a short story or a book that is formated as problem conflic resolution, do you know what I mean!?!? I don't want to give you a specific situation about them jsut an outline with bits and pieces!. Help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You actually CAN pull off a short story (or novella, if you want) that doesn't have a climactic scene or conflict/resolution scenario!. It's incredibly difficult to accomplish effectively, but my main suggestion would be trying to tell the story in first-person (from the point of view of whichever girl you want to be the main character)!. Now, obviously, you don't get the thoughts of all the characters, but as long as your narrator learns something and/or experiences something that can teach the reader, then you can do it without having to have that big scene!.

I can't think of any good examples at the moment, or I'd suggest a story!. If I think of one, I'll come back and let you know! Best of luck!

P!.S!. I almost never have a plot in mind when I start writing!. Take the information about the characters you've developed and just start writing something!. Usually, a plot will develop and surprise you! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
