Question: I have a question about HARRY POTTER!?
Yay! Finally a question about a book that is not Twilight! haha, kidding!. Anway, this question involves a scene in The Deathly Hollows (spoiler alert!!!)!. After Voldemort kills Harry and he wakes up at the kings cross station and is talking to Dumbledore what is that little baby thing supposed to be!? i heard someone say that it was Voldemort's soul, or what was left of it anyway!. Was that what it was supposed to be!? Or was it something else!? I got everythign in that book except for that part and it's been bugging me for awhile!. Thank you! Www@QuestionHome@Com

That ugly baby thing is the piece of Voldemort's soul that died with Harry!. It's incomplete, and (if you remember) very like Voldemort before he was reborn!. Ugly, wrinkled, and baby like but incredibly hideous!. Dumbledore says it is beyond aid because it is only PART of Voldy's soul, not a whole!. It is there because it died along with Harry, and it's left there because Harry cannot help it!. Maybe Voldy can find his soul as a spirit!?!? Hmmmm !.!.!.

Yes it is one of the last remaining pieces of Voldemort's soul!. He never intended to put a piece of himself into Harry when he tried to kill him and didn't know that he had!. When the curse hit Harry it killed that shred of Voldemort, the shriveled crying thing, which is why Harry was allowed to return!. He was finally free of that connection!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Reading Deathly Hallows just once and trying to understand it is like trying to play Uno with a blindfold on!. I get what you mean!

But your friend is right-- that little shriveled up baby is basically what is left of Voldemort's existence!. It's very simple!. I'm sure the symbolism is!.!.!. way more complex, but that's the easy version!.

If you're in a rush, I think someone actually made the Sparknotes for all seven books!. They're obviously not anything close to the real thing, but they're very good and show some justice if what you're wanting is just a summary!.

Hope I helped!!

Yes, it is supposed to be Voldemort!. Of course if you remember that is how he was in the first books until he was revived back to a regular body!. That's what it is supposed to represent!. Hope that answers your question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes it's Voldemort's soul!. Since he split his soul so many times, that is what is left of it!. They killed all of the horcruxes so that one final piece died!. No idea why it's in the room with him though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was Voldemorts soul that was in Harry!.
When it Voldemort *killed* Harry, he actually killed a bit of his own soul!. The soul, or the child on the floor, was the soul and it was beyond hope as Dumbledore said!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have been wiondering this EXACT SAME THING!!! when i read that part i was like WTH! i think it is the piece of Voldemort's soul that is inside Harry:)Www@QuestionHome@Com

This was in "Deathly Hollows"!?!?!? I don't remember reading that at all!. It sounds more like something that happened in one of the movies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In that scene, If I am correct, I think it Voldemort's soul as well!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ive been wondering the same thing! I once had a thought that it was Wormtail, and Harry feeling guilty for him or something!. but i think ur correct, it probably was voldemort's soulWww@QuestionHome@Com
