Question: Do you think it would make a good book!? !?
Warning if you hate Vampire Theme books then don't answer and I really don't like people thinking that I copied from Twiligh but here it goes!.
Amie Medici was orpahaged at the age of 8 when her whole family was killed by a vampire!. she was adopted by a sweet old lady but the lady was a vampire hunter herself and tells Amie she has the right to become a vampire hunter and she accepts she moves to huntington beach california to protect them from vampires her best friend Alec moves with her(leaving his family in their hometown) so she wouldn't be alone!. She then meets Lucas he's charming and lacks the dark atmosphere most vampire have!. he also gets rid of vampires if they get out of line but himself he's one of the most powerful vampire in the world!. At seen how fearless and Pure-hearted Amie is Lucas falls for her!. And Amie gets a crush on him but doens't admit it and its disguted at herself for falling for such an evil creature vampires even though lucas it's not evil at all!. they both little by little fall in love while still protect humans from vampires that hunt HB!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I swear, I read a book exactly like that online!.
However, it was from a teen writer on a site, and it was just unprofessional, etc!. etc!.
It's a good book!.
I know what it's like to suddenly feel like everything you write is a rip-off of Twilight!.!.!.

So, I would seriously say write it!.
And when you're done, send me the title so I can search it out in Barnes and Noble!?
You've got something good here, and don't worry about seeming like a Twilight copycat!.
I'm sure whatever you write will turn out to be something so far off from Twilight, and it'll be splendid!.

I think it can work if you make it obviously different from Twilight or any other work about vampires!. um i dunno!. you should make the old lady come and try to kill lucas 'cause he's a vampire but Amie has to stop her by killing the old lady, and then amie and lucas have sex but then Alec walks in on them and now he's jealous!. amie and lucas hide the dead lady in a ditch, but alec followed them (secretly) and discovered that she killed the old lady!.Now he wants to know more but amie is avoiding him because he saw them having sex!. i stop there 4 you to finish!.
also if you do make this into a book and sell it but someone wants to sue you for getting this of yahoo answers, use this as proof that i give you full credit

sorry!. that sounds really corny!. it doesn't sound like a book that any person in the world good relate to!. maybe if you made your main character a little more realistic than it could be ok!. take twilight for instance!. bella is essentially a normal girl and most female characters can somewhat relate to her!. but amie is orphaned and adopted by a old lady vampire hunter who makes amie a vampire hunter who then falls in love with a vampire who happens to hunt vampires too!?!?!? my advice would to make Amie maybe an orphan who meets an old lady who tells her some story about vampires and then she meets the vampire!. you just need to make the story have some element of reality in it!.
