I LOVE BOOKS TOO!
I dream of a house with books crammed inside every nook and cranny! I can't read as fast as I can buy and I love book stores too! But only to look, I like second hand books so get them from the net or market!.
Books are cool!. :)
(I'm 25 now and wonder what my house will look like when I'm 50!.!.!.What are we gonna do with all our books when we've filled all the spaces!?!)
What type of books do you read!? I read mainly fantasy, but some non-fiction aswell!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could always buy books online (or get them froma local library and then read them at the Barnes and Noble cafe!. Sometimes when money is tight, that is what I do!. I buy a cup of tea or coffee, read my book and enjoy the cozy bookstore experienceWww@QuestionHome@Com

u may like to become a librarian and have millions aroundWww@QuestionHome@Com

I know your dilemma; I keep stealing bookcases from other members of my family (if they're going to leave an empty bookcase in the hallway for a week, they shouldn't expect it to stay empty) and despite having, at this count, seven bookcases of varying sizes I still have books spilling onto shelves and floors!.

I've never been able to afford books at Barnes and Noble, so I make a point of finding used book stores or, sometimes, garage sales and then letting my book-loving friends know where they are so we can all go hang there and search for books!. I love my used book stores!. I also have two separate groups of people who circulate good books between them so that only one us needs buy it; one is made up of most of three generations of my family and the other of myself and two best friends!. That works quite well and you still have a group to hang out with and discuss the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I buy books from my son's school book order!.
I got the Narnia series for 20$ and I was pretty happy with that!.
I understand how you feel, I love buying books too!. Right now in my line up I have the last Chronicles of Narnia book and the Golden Compass waiting to be read!.
Maybe as for your online vrs book store problem you could alternate!.
Buy a book in the store, then online, then in the store etc!.!.
Best of both worlds but you still save some money!.
I don't always buy books though, only special ones!. Sometimes I borrow from the library too!.
You can make friends with the librarians too you know, lol!.
I usually buy books that i know that I will read over and over!.
I have The Life of Pi, Blindness (this book has just been made into a movie) THe HP series, The Chronicles of Narnia and much more!.
My kids have piles upon tons of children's books too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used to buy more books than I can read, then I made myself stop buying until I caught up!. When I ran out of room, I donated the ones I knew I wouldn't read again to the local library and kept the ones I loved!. That made enough room so that I could buy more and read more!. I don't bother with book stores because every book I've wanted has been found online!. Granted, I mainly read Fantasy/Epic Fantasy but I have other reading interests as well!.

For your Barnes & Noble dilemma, If you want to keep the cozy bookstore experience, then go ahead!. Search for new books you'd like in the store, make a note of the title & auther then go home & order them online!. That way you have the best of both worlds!.

Books rock!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
