Yes and it's a classic!.

I have to warn you though that it can be difficult to read--especially the first part of it because of the style, which is why it's good to read in a book club!. Once you get past the first part of it though and get used to it, it's a great story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a classic, but honestly!.!.!. I have never been able to get past the first three pages!.!.!.

I own the book, because I LOVE "As I Lay Dying" and Faulkner's short stories!.!.!. but I just have not gotten through "The Sound and the Fury"!.

So I encourage you to do it!. I want to start a book club, and that book would definitely be on my list (so I'd be forced to read it, lol)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're thinking about ever reading it, I'd recommend doing it with a book club, because it is difficult to get through on your own!. Was for me anyway!.!.!. I actually got through it, but I don't know if that did any good because I didn't really understand any of it!.

It's a fantastic book, and reading it with other people so you can discuss it is a great idea!. It is difficult, but well worth the effort!. I have read it at least 4 times!. Faulkner is my favorite American author!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've tried, but I'm not even sure it's a book you can "read!." I think it's something you experience and you have to be really open to it!. I wouldn't recommend it for a casual reader!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
