So im going to see the movie tomorrow and I think I finished the book!.!. So what is the end of the book chapter 24 an impasse or the epilogue!? also, if chapter 24 is the end what does she mean by im betting on alice!? Please help me what is the end!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

no, 'an occasion' is the epilogue of the book, chapter 24 is just a chapter!. and when she says "i'm betting on alice" she's referring to alice's prediction or vision, or whatever you want to call it, about how she saw that bella was coming before she actually moved to forks and she saw that edward was going to turn her into a vampire!. she's saying that she's "betting on alice" as in she believes that what alice saw will eventually happen, despite his reluctance to do it!. i don't really know how to explain it clearly, lol, but i hope u get what i mean :]Www@QuestionHome@Com
