Question: What's the name of this book!.!.!.!?

The tittle has the word magic in it and it has the series, can't remember the name!. It's about a guy that in a cold night he finds a baby outside the castle and he takes it in as his own child!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's also called the Septimus Heap series!.
