When can we reasonably expect to get an entire day without a "Twilight"

Question: When can we reasonably expect to get an entire day without a "Twilight"-related question!?

I was just wondering!. I have just spent two hours answering "Twilight"-questions (as a declared Twilight-hater), and trying to talk some sense into people's heads!. I have not succeeded!. So, I have tried to figure out when we can expect to get our "Books and Authors" back without 80% of questions dealing with the sex-appeal (or lack thereof) of Edward Cullen, or the mysterious league of shallow literary superheroes (a!.k!.a!. Team Edward/Team Jacob)!.

Any thoughts!? Any silver lining!? Please!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sometimes I feel like B&A is so far gone we'll never get it back!. Sometimes I wonder if, years from now, I'll still be answering questions about whether I like a pedophile wolf more than an abusive vampire, or if Edward notices Bella's period, or if certain users look like Bella!.

Then I remember that Twilight is just a shallow fad!. It has no literary meaning, and when the fan girls are all grown up, Twilight will just be another crappy book collecting dust at the local library!. Eventually it will disappear!.

Of course, as Why So Serious!? pointed out, we're going to have to get through a possible 3 more movies!. It's a scary thought, but I think we can get through these tough times if we, the Twi-haters, stick together!.

The silver lining!? For me, that would be answering the Twilight questions with as much sarcasm as I can muster!. It may not help the situation, but I get a few laughs each day from Twilighter responses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Eventually twilight questions, well end, but sorry to break it to you!.!.!. not now!. I mean it's the new Obsession so you will get a lot of people asking questions!. However you don't have to answer twilight questions if you are sick of it!. I know that it got out of hand, and people are going crazy, but i guess that's just how it is!. Well when people find books to get obsessed about and i mean the series are massively popular, so in the books and authors section you will find a lot of people with questions!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

We can all hope and pray that there will be one bright day when there are few Twilight questions!. However, that will probably happen the day the sun does not rise!.

The only silver lining I can think of is that, since the movie is coming out, hopefully the questions will be in the movie category!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am figuring April or May!.!.as we have to allow time for the movie to play out!. Then again if the movie does really well it might take till after it hits DVD!.

Personally I don't hate to the books!. I found them a nice read (at least the first 3; i do hate book 4 but not the series as a whole) I just don't see any true depth to them that would incite this kind of mania/obsession!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no I'm pretty sure their going to have New Moon and Eclipse turned into movies in the future, the guy that plays Edward signed a contract and said he'll be in the future sequels of Twilight!.

All of those questions annoy me too!. Especially when they have been asked 100 times!. It's so annoying!. And even when a person asks a twilight non related question like "What's a good book!?" all you get is "TWILIGHT OMFG EDWARDS IS SO HAWT YOU'LL LOVEEEE IT!!1!!!!!1!!1!!" The only silver lining I can see is when it's gone,which will hopefully happen soon, we will be so grateful that we no longer had to put of with the fad!. And when will it end!? Well, with the movie coming, I suspect that the Twilight questions will pour in twice as hard!. The Twihards who don't have the common sense in putting their Twilight MOVIE questions in the Movies section will put them here, at Books and Authors!. Jeez, I hope I didn't give them any ideas, though!. Even if the movie will not live up to their expectations, I'm sure they'll still ask questions like, "Did you like the Twilight movie!?" "Didn't you think Rob was sooo hot!?" "Do you think they could have done better with the Twilight movie!?"

I was thinking of going on a hiatus until the hype dies down, but since I'm aiming for Level 7, I can't take any chances!. Twilight is a fad!. Eventually, all fads fade!. But I'm certain that it will take years before this craze is over!.

Now, you know I always make a point of showing respect to everyone, but when they show no respect for me and it becomes increasingly difficult to control my temper!. So I say, for the love of Chuck Norris, people! Get OVER yourselves! Nobody cares that "ur annoyed of haters!." You cannot tell people not to get on Y!A because YOU can't ask a decent question or post a decent answer!. You can't tell people to stop attacking Twilight, because it wouldn't be attacked if it wasn't shoved in our faces every freaking second!. We're not wasting our time by trying to talk sense, YOU are wasting your time by asking the same question over and over ("Do I look like Bella!?" "OMG who luvs EDWARD CULLEN!?" "OMG who luvs TWIGIT!?" "Whic Twigit book is ur fav!?" "What ordr does the series by Stephine Mayer go in!?" "is the host as good as twilight!?" and of course, "Edwad or Jacooooob!?!!!")!. My answer to all those questions is, in the words of Rhett Butler, "My dear, I don't give a damn!." My silver lining is, of course, I do get a kick out of irritating people sometimes, or trying to talk some sense, but often I wonder "For what!? What am I doing this for!? Would it honestly matter if I just gave up and left the Y!A community!?"
My answer is, "If I effect just one of these silly girls, just one, and get her interested in real literature, perhaps she can find her favorite book all the sooner!." So, until this all clears up, I will work on!.
When will it clear up, you ask!? Good question!. I say another year or two!. If other movies are made for the Twilight series, we will probably see a slight increase in the Twilight questions, and not the decrease that we so desperately want!. Of course, if the first movie is a flop and no others are made (*holding breath and crossing fingers, praying*), then I think Twilight as we know it will come to a slow decline and eventual halt!.
Nobody cares about an old, washed romance with weak writing!. Hopefully, that is what Twilight will become as if fades into the background!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Before Breaking Dawn came out, it was REALLY bad!. So many of the questions were about Twilight that it was almost impossible to find one that *wasn't*!. A few weeks afterwards, it had died down and there weren't nearly as many!. Now with the movie so close, the questions have started up again!. After the movie comes out, I expect it will die down!.

Give it a year or two, and the Twilight fad will be over (Unless New Moon and Eclipse are made into movies!.!.!. let's pray not)!.

Well I understand what everyone is saying, but everyone is forgetting something!. Harry Potter was the most popular book for a long time and then Twilight came out!. So if a new book comes out or series that is very good and catches a lot of peoples attention then most likely the questions may die down and whatever the new book may be will become the new hit thing to talk about!. Most people have to be addicted to something, just like everyone of my friends are addicted to Manga!. Now I don't exactly hate Twilight I mean I did read them and thought they were okay!. But I didn't become a crazed Twilight nerd, however before anyone gets mad at me, let me explain!.
If you are a Twilight nerd then fine, but think about others before you go yelling at them just because they don't love Twilight!.
