Question: Recommend Books and Authors I would Like!?
I am not looking for just a copy and paste of some school reading list!.I am actually looking for books I might like that are age appropriate!.
Don't Like - Harry Potter,Lord of the Rings,Romance,Fantasy or Sci Fi
I Like - Black Comedy, Fiction, basically books someone with a sense of humor/personality similar to a male Daria or Jane (from daria) or Janeane Garofalo would like
I am a 23 year old Male so please something close to age appropriate and gender appropriate!.
I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humor!.I also want books on the more unconventional side, because I get bored with the same old thing all the time!.I also want something that is a bit of an easy read because I have a short attention span but not too easy or I'd get bored with it!.However I also want something that isn't too predictable because I don't like things I can see the ending a mile away!.

this is a hilarious book by Roddy Doyle!. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes dry, british humour!. I couldn't put it down!.
Long way down by Nick Hornby is also very funny and quite dry/witty!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Have you tried Twilight!?Or maybe the classics- Wutering heights, Pride & Prejudice, etc!.
Sorry, but all the books that come to mind, you said you wouldn't read!. A very good book is The Host, which is a sci-fi adventure-romance!.

And, though you said you don't like science fiction, I'm going to go out on a limb and recommend More Than Human by Theodore Sturgeon!.
Some science fiction rises so far above the rest that you may as well surrender to it!. This book is a fantastic and unpredictable read!.
