The series isn't over!. The last I heard Charlaine hadn't made and commitments to who Sookie would end up with!. In the last book, she broke up with her boyfriend, who was an interesting guy, and Bill and Eric are both still panting after her!. Of course, there is also ever loyal Sam!. Charlaine once indicated that she didn't really know who Sookie would end up with but that was before the last book came out, maybe she know now, but hasn't shared it with us yet!. She likes to let the story evolve!. It could be someone we know or haven't even met yet!. :P
