Question: Do you know this childrens book!?
it's about an African girl who gets kidnapped by the sea on her way to get a conch shell and is stolen by someone/thing and put into a drum!. They take the drum to villages and get rich because they hit the drum and make her sing, and the people think the drum is magic!.
In the end, the little girl inside the drum knows she is in her own village and sings a song about herself while her captors are away so the listeners know that she is within the drum, kidnapped!.
The villagers take the little girl away and fill the drum with sand so it is heavy and the bad guys don't know she's gone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
