Question: What books similar to my tastes/personality!?
Don't Like - Harry Potter,Lord of the Rings,Romance,Fantasy or Sci Fi

I Like - Black Comedy, Fiction, basically books someone with a sense of humor/personality similar to a male Daria or Jane (from daria) or Janeane Garofalo would like

I am a 23 year old Male so please something close to age appropriate and gender appropriate!.

I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humor!.I also want books on the more unconventional side, because I get bored with the same old thing all the time!.I also want something that is a bit of an easy read because I have a short attention span but not too easy or I'd get bored with it!.However I also want something that isn't too predictable because I don't like things I can see the ending a mile away!.

Definately read

Strangers by Dean R!. Koontz you'll be in for a roller coaster in that one

basically ANY book by Dean Koontz ( i'm a huge fan) but start with strangers then tackle one of these

Dark Rivers of the Heart
False Memory
By the light of the Moon
One Door Away From Heaven
Seize the Night

He writes suspense thrillers but they are SO much more than that!. There is usually some mystery, intrigue, and a couple of rugs being pulled out from under you that make you go "WOW! I didn't see THAT coming!."

And I know you excluded fantasy from your list, which I don't blame you, I'm NOT a fantasy fan, but, you really should give Terry Goodkind a try!. He wrote an 11 novel series titled "The Sword of Truth" the first book is Wizards First Rule!. It is so much more than a fantasy novel!. He does not take ten chapters explaining everything, it woven right into the story, and this series has an ACTUAL story, it's not JUST about the hocus pocus!. Give him a try!.!.!.please!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
