Question: Who is your most memorable fictional character and why!?
it can be from a movie, a book, a cartoon even!.

I haven't read the book in a long time but I'd have to go with The Count of Monte Cristo!. His solid determination to reap his revenge and his patience is what makes him so memorable to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables!. I felt so sorry for him after Anne was so mean to him for so long!. He was always trying to make up for calling her carrots and she wouldn't have it!. Deep down he was a good guy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perrin (Goldeneyes) Aybara from Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series!. His storyline in the book is amazing and his grim determination to do what has to be done for the good of those he loves and for the good of the world makes him a really awesome character!. Plus his being a Wolfkin is amazing too! :D

Ayla from the Earth's Children series, because through her story our ancient ancestors who survived the ice age came alive!.

I'd also have to agree with the person who said Scarlett O'Hara!. If you've only ever seen the movie, read the book!. It's 100 times better!.

For some weird reason, I loved Leary, the crazed sniper up in the choir loft of St!. Patrick's in Nelson DeMille's "Cathedral", but I think that just shows some sick side of me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Milady de Winter (The Three Musketeers) - She is so evil!. I just love the part in the book where she is captured and you get a little peek into her mind as she schemes to seduce Felton!. She is one of those characters who is deliciously evil, and no matter how evil she is, you feel drawn to her!. Dumas created her so well!. As d'Artagnan himself knows how evil and dangerous he is, he feels drawn to her!. The same thing happens for the reader!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Starry,

Dracula!.

Bram Stoker's novel brought about some very interesting reading and movies throughout the years regarding vampires!. Although it was loosely based on a real person: Vlad Tepes, Drakul, it set the stage for books and films throughout the history of literature and cinema!.

One example I'm sure all you young people can relate to is: Twilight!. I wonder if Stoker had not written his novel, would there be such books and films for us to enjoy to this day!.
