Question: Why do you think A Midsummer Nights Dream was and is still so successful!?
I think for Shakespearian audiences it was so popular because it focused on things people were interested in and talked about of the time!. Like people were big on superstitions and believed in fairies, bad luck, spirits and what not!.

Today I think the relationships and situations are what makes it still interesting for our audiences!. The issues they faced between the lovers and different characters are still around today!. It's like a giant soap opera!.

What are all your opinions!? I'm just improving my own learning here and trying to see it from other people's views!. Please share anything you think at all =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Multiple romantic story lines, fairies, a fairly shoddy yet amusing community theatre production, a pompous know-it-all literally getting stuck with an ***-head (*** meaning donkey), beautiful language, what's not to like!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
