What should my character's room look like?

Question: What should my character's room look like!?

I'm writing a novel about a 14 year old girl!. Kind of a romance/chick flick/teen book type thing!. In the book, she is painting her room, but I don't know what color to paint it of what color furniture to put in it!. Any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only person who can paint her room is you!.
Really get into your characters head!.

Although, if your still struggling here are some ideas!.

She could paint her room when ever she wants, eg!. personal messages, paintings of random imaginings, dreams or whatever she feels!.

Or it could be quirky, she could paint it black and absolutely cover it in glow in the dark stars!.
She could hang mirrors all over so there is not one spot of wall!. But they have to different sized mirrors, not wall to walls!.
She could have carpet walls!. Ideal for the music loving teen!.

If she is very, very feminine,make it pink on pink with white furniture-ruffles and flowers as accents!.!. If she is a thinker, do it in shades of green,with white spread and pillows, woodwork and furniture, use live plants as accents, If she is sophisticated; black and white with red and gold accents,black furniture, oriental rug!. If she wants something restful; french blue and or aqua and lilac should work well with natural wicker furniture, a collection of African violets on a window sill!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What color is ur room!? use urself as an example!.
And if u r like me and ur room looks like crap then think a little; what would u want ur room to look like!? what does ur friends room look like!. What does ur fav actor/actress/singer/rapper's room look like!.
INSPERATION CAN COME FROM NEWHERE, JUST LOOK AROUND!.!.!.

Would it matter if she painted it blue instead of green!? If the color of her room is significant and you are going to revisit it as a part of the plot, I'd say go with cream or beige but then it really depends on how you include it in the plot!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Goth ~ Black
Happy-go-lucky ~ Yellow/Pale blue

Your character's room should reflect your character's personality!. For example, if she's goth, paint her room black!.
