I'm a new Twilighter, so i wasn't around when whatever happened with the book went down!. I know it's supposed to be Edwards point of view and everything already!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well, the first 12 chapters got leaked on the internet!. stephenie meyer knows who did it and is not in a mood to write!. she is not sure if she'll finish the book or not!. so it might not get published!. i was soooooooo lokking forward to reading it!. its kinda dissapointing!. to read the twelve chapters and 4 more info go 2 www!.stepheniemeyer!.com she made them available on her website since she didn't want her readers 2 read it from somewhere elseWww@QuestionHome@Com Midnight Sun was illegally posted on the internet and Stephenie was so upset, betrayed and traumatised that she decided to put Midnight Sun on hold and she is not sure when or if she will continue with it!. And that made her upset and not wanting to continue saying that it is not worth it!. According to her site it says that she is focusing on spending more time with her family and other writing projects!. So at the moment we dont know the fate of the book!. But on her website she said that Midnight Sun is on the hold!. Www@QuestionHome@Com what actually happened was that somebody leaked the partial draft onto the internet, and Stephenie Meyer was so betrayed by this that she decided to postpone the book release indefinately!. Stephenie was really upset as she said this copyrighted her rights as an author!. She has put the book on hold 'indefinitely' (no specified period of time has been set when when the book will be released or when in fact she will begin writing it again)!.
