Question: Did you know I've realized my mistake!?
Now, a lot of you may know I dislike Twilight!. But in the past week, I've reread them, and I've come to realize I was SO wrong! They're great! The books totally captivated my attention, and I was stunned by how much I enjoyed them!. I'm really sorry for insulting people and misleading my contacts here; it was wrong of me to be so judgmental of Twilight!. Stephenie Meyer truly does have talent, and I now understand the obsession; Twilight rocks! I'm psyched for the upcoming movie!

Just kidding! Happy Halloween, everybody!

Was anyone scared!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
*Tourterelle, I'm not even KIDDING, my heart stopped beating for a second I was so scared!. I was like "Oh my gosh! Has the world gone mad!?" Everyone we know (especially Epiphany and I) would have to Internet beat some sense into you, you know!. Don't scare me like that again!

Add: You want to hear a story!? I was passing out candy tonight (Mom's orders) wearing my little cat ears!. Well, after it got dark I grew concerned that people may trip over the edge of my poorly-lit sidewalk!. Being the sweet little person I am, I went and got a bright pink glowstick and taped it down so that no one would fall and hurt themselves coming to get my candy!. Well, I went to go check on my jack-o-lantern at the end of the sidewalk and the glowstick was gone; someone had stolen the glowstick that I had laid out to protect them!. How sick is that!? Well, that's when I ran inside, got my basket of candy, and ran down the driveway, determined to find the offender, even if it meant chucking candy at people with glowsticks' faces and demanding to know where they got theirs!. Of course, my mom called me back and told me not to go anywhere with the candy (because she wanted ME to pass it out)!.
I went with both Plan B and Plan C: Curse the theif to a nighttime of tripping over sidewalks and Go inside and eat a bunch of candy while answering questions and watching Sweeney Todd (I got that from Netflix yesterday-- I've been wanting to see it)!.

Add again: To be honest, I really just didn't like it!. It creeped me out more than anything-- but I'm giving it another chance, because the people whose interests I usually share like it, and I think I will enjoy it if I watch it again!. I didn't like Phantom of the Opera the first time I watched it either, or Gone with the Wind when I first read it, but now I love both!. Maybe Sweeney Todd will do the same kind of thing!.

*And again: I would have cut off my computer, cut it on a few minutes later, given you a sound Internet beating, and tried to make you see logic, but I was sort of frozen in fear, eyes darting across the screen frantically, looking for some sort of logical explanation!. Your announcement was like!.!.!. Chuck Norris announcing that he was gay!.!.!. or something!.!.!.!. I would have reacted the same way to both things!.

Again!.!.!. again: Yeah, I don't like gory movies so much!. I sit there with my hands over my eyes half the time and squeal like a little kid!. I don't like seeing people get physically hurt (or emotionally, unless it's some desperate romantic thing)!. In fact, I don't really mind violence so long as you don't see any blood or hear any of the sounds that the body makes when it hurts!. Maybe I'm weak, but I can't stand watching things (people, animals, what have you) hurting!.
I love Johnny Depp, though! Ah, he's probably my favorite actor ever! I like Clark Gable, too!. Anyway, I really like the music in Sweeney Todd!.

Edit: Good to know!. Nicole is my middle name!. (Hopefully, my grammy, who I am visiting, won't find this as well-- my answer to Magda's latest question about avatars freaked her out and she thinks that this is some porno site now!. Ah!)
Yeah, now that I think about it, Epiphany, you, and I do agree on a lot of things!. Too bad we each live in a different time zone (I think)!. We should have a contacts party or something every year and the whole Books and Authors community could fly out somewhere and have a conference (that just happens to have cupcakes, chips, soda, and an awesome playlist of jams)!.
Whoa, I've taken up a TON of room!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You actually had me going there when you said that you liked Twilight!. So you actually hate it, huh!? One of my contacts lost her friends because of those books!. People are entitled to their opinion on any books and I have total respect for their own personal decisions!.

I'm a fan myself but not obsessive like most of these chicas here!. I'm already on New Moon right now and I'm also awaiting the movie!.

Happy Halloween!

LOL!.!.!.I didn't believe you for one moment, Tourterelle!. Good thing too, because if I had, I know I might have had nightmares, and now that I'm getting up at five-thirty every I'm getting little enough sleep as it is!. But you did give me a good laugh!. Congratulations!

Happy Halloween to you too!

Okay, that really bothered me!. I was thinking, "Are all the decent people really being brainwashed!?" Shew!.
And, can I respond with a question!. (I will anyway!.!.!.)
Are you, Kelsey, and Epiphany all Internet friends or do you know each other in person!? Just wondering!.!.!.
And, Sweeney Todd, worth renting!? I have been wondering!.
Www@QuestionHome@Com

OMG! I know rite!! Its lyk the best book ever and Stephenie is sooo talented! I wish I could rite as beautifully as her!

Seriously though, that was a good one!. I almost shut my computer off after the first two sentences!. I was in utter shock that someone who, I think, normally gives very intellectual answers could loose so many brain cells so quickly!. What a relief those last sentences were!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know you much better than that, Tourterelle!. I know you wouldn't stoop to the Twilighters' level!.

Thanks for the laugh! :)

EDIT: Thanks, Tourterelle! And Kelsey, that was a funny story!. I swear, people are desperate these days!. Stealing a glowstick!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Today is not Opposite Day!
I think I had a mini heart attack!. Lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That!.
Was!.
Hilarious!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

lol :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good one :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Um yeah, ok!.

I don't understand why people need to broadcast whether they love or hate Twilight, but whatever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Kels-- I didn't like Sweeney Todd the first time I saw it either!. It was just too!.!.!. weird to me!. I didn't expect anything that was coming so the entire time I was just going "WTF!?! OH MY GOSH HE IS KILLING PEOPLE AND EATING THEM!"!. The ending was so unbelievably weird, too!. I decided to give it another chance!. Since I knew what was coming, it didn't freak me out at all, so the "WTF!?" factor was removed for me!. And now it's one of my favorite movies!. I was hooked!. I definitely liked it a lot more the second time around!. Sweeney Todd reminds me a lot of the Phantom, in a way-- they both do horrible things, but you can't help but feel sorry for them!.

----

Tourterelle, you freaked me out there! I about had a heart attack!. Kels and I WOULD have had to give you a thorough cyber beating! Ha!.
Good joke!

Gosh, my Halloween kind of sucked!. I didn't dress up, but I went and hung out at my friend's house!. We watched Phantom because a few of my friends hadn't ever seen it, then had a sleepover, but we were all so tired that we went to bed at midnight!. We all had to go home at 7!. Yeah, kind of lame!. Oh well-- I got to take my little sister trick or treating, and that was fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
