In chapter 14, Alan Campbell gets rid of the body for Dorian and this is part of what is said: "a large mahogany chest of chemicals, with a long coil of steel and platinum wire and two rather curiously shaped iron clamps!." You could have a steel coil and/or a piece of wire and/or a picture of a mahogany chest and/or a clamp to represent this deed!.

You could have an easel or at least a paint brush to represent the portrait, itself!.

You could have a picture of opium or an opium den to represent what happened to Dorian, a cigarette to represent the rather indolent Henry (or a cane), a picture of the statue of Adonis to represent Dorian and his beauty!. You could also have a French novel to represent the book which influences Dorian in such a bad way (Wikipedia suggests it might have been something like Joris-Karl Huysmans's à rebours)!.

I'm sure there is much more, but I hope this helps a bit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
