One night he was bitten by a vampire however the vampire fled after being tracked down my other pastors so Carlisle did not die,he just turned in to a vampire!. Knowing that his Father would kill anything infected he hid until his three day transformation was over and then,disgusted with what he was,he attempted suicide many times before settling with starving himself!. One night he gave in to his hunger and fed on a pack of animals,realising he could live this way,as a vegetarian of sorts!. In 1918 Edward came to the hospital Carlisle(now a doctor)was working at along with his parents who were all dying of the spanish infulenza!. There was a sort of vampire war going on,where vampires were fighting for territory and Maria wanted help to claim Monterrey!. Jaspers responsibility was to train newborn vampires and then destroy them when they were no longer useful!. After about a century of this Jasper grew tired and left Maria with two of his friends,however he left them in order to try and find a lifestyle like the cullens since he could obviously feel his preys emotions before he killed them!. Alice had a permonition they would meet in a diner and then togethor they both found the Cullens!.
