Gatsby is having parties hoping that Daisy will walk in one day and be impressed, but Daisy never comes to his parties!. If you read on, you'll find out more about the relationship between Buchanans!. I don't want to give it away, but I'll just tell you that in the end, Gatsby is not a happy guy!.

Hope this helps :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think Nick had a meaningless life!.
I think Fitzgerald was trying to show us that even if people love you, and think your the greatest thing since slice bread!. They might not always be there for you and turn on you!.
But thats what I think!.

I am not sure I understand your question!. Do you mean "Does Gatsby have a lot of parties to give his life meaning!?"!?

Gatsby's life is unfulfilled because he didn't marry Daisy, thus ruining both their lives and making their wealth meaningless!.
