Question: Suggestions on good books!?
I am looking for some suggestions on good books (fiction)!. Normally I read non-fiction and I'm looking to get others' opinions on some fiction work!. I don't have a specific type, although I can say that I would not be interested in romance novels! Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Maybe historical fiction would suit your tastes since you like non-fiction!. Maybe you'd like Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut loosly based on the bombing of Dresden during the battle of the bulge!.

Another good one would be Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, though some people don't see the genius of it and can tire of the dialogue, I really enjoyed it and found it refreshing!.

Two newer suggestions would be Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, about a father being a demigod of sorts and a sons discovery of it after his passing in the real world!.

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger was a good read that pulled me in!. It had a love story in it, but with a twist, the husband of the story Henry DeTamble has a genetic disorder that throws him out of current time and he visits the past and future sometimes seeing his wife throughout her life!. This one will be made into a movie that is set to release this winter sometime!.

Hope I could help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In that case, how about dropping you right into the middle of a mind freak so that you'll start loving fiction more than non!.

Clive Barker's "Abarat!." A children's series from the man who brought us Hellraiser!. Ohhh myyy gaaawd!.

"The box!. You opened it, we came!."
"She sewed his mouth shut as a child, because he said the word, 'love!.'"
