Yep, I've done that!. It was my New Year's Resolution to read more this year!.!.!.so I made a list of books I want to read early on and actually what happened is I started adding more *cough Twilight saga cough* and so I kept adding and reading!.!.!.and some of the older books have taken a back seat!.!.!.It's a nice thing to have that list around to remind you!. I think that's a very good idea!. As such you will know which books precisely you want and not choose any nonsense!. The problem with me is that I always lose my lists and as such spend, or rather waste, a lot of time trying to remember what books I want to look for and read!. I does not matter however long you take to read all the books on your list, the essential is that you have taken the pains to write it down and go by it, which, believe me, is very essential!.

Hope this helps and good reading!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Counterpoint here--lists make me feel guilty!. (Looking at all those titles that I have yet to cross off!.!.!.) And having a list tends to take away, for me, the joy of discovery when I walk the shelves at the public library or the aisles at the local bookstore!. I don't want to pick up a book and say, "Okay, here's one for the list!." I want to pick up a book and be so excited by the premise or the writing that I MUST read this book right now!. Lists end up feeling too much like "should reads" to me!.

But whatever keeps ANY of us reading, I'm all in favor of it!.

Yep! I did this on monday!. I've got 46 books on my list so far and i'm half way through the first one already!.
I wrote it out in different coloured pens so it's more readable and stuck it on the wall!. Every time i finish a book i'm going to cross it off and date it and replace with another book!.
Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's good, keeps you from walking back and forth for hours at barnes and noble trying to pick out your next book!.
I've done that for a while!. One thing I had to do was limit my list to ten books!. It grew to the size that I was looking over it just as long as I was spending at the book store with the old method!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

sure theres a book of lists at the library one list is the best books of all time fiction and non so ask at the library and make a better list easier i read about three books a week and so after about 43years with a library card ive read about 6700 books so farWww@QuestionHome@Com

Of course! That way you won't forget all the books you want to read and when you come across another good title, you can just add it to the list!. I do this too, by the way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah that's good 'cause I do the same thing!. I made a list of what to read from books like Tender is the Night by F!. Scott Fitzgerald to the Inheritance Cycle!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
