Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
His character traits!? Um, I could bs that one for you but I don't think it would help!. Well, if its literally just traits he is calm, loving, peaceful, and strong!.

The courage part I can help you with the most!. Atticus' courage is the sort of courage where you do something really brave, not really strong and pain inflicting!. Atticus first makes a point of this when Mrs!. D(ubose!?) (the neighbor) makes fun of Atticus and Jem gets angry!. Then when he tries to repay her for the damage, he ends up learning that she was attempting to get off of her drug addiction before she died, which she did!. She did not have to do it, but she wanted to, and she had enough courage and bravery to do it!.

Another part that shows his courage is the whole trial!. Atticus sticks up for what he believes in, no matter what!. Even when his life is threatened, he continues to stick by his convictions that Tom Robinson did not convict a crime!. Which he really didn't!. His courage was sticking up for what is right!.

Atticus' definition of courage is not fighting with fists with what you believe, but fighting with support, determiniation, and inner strength!. If you want more, I can email you tomorrow morning!. lobsterhickman@yahoo!.comWww@QuestionHome@Com
